Club Apparel Orders -Portland Bicycling Club

Club Apparel Orders

Several of you have asked when another club jersey or vest order would be placed. In the past, the club was required to order a full array of sizes, then try to sell what we had. Now, these companies are willing to work directly with us, provided we have at least 12 products ordered. Do we have enough interest to place another order of jerseys? Vests?

Jerseys: Our jerseys are manufactured by Primal. They usually charge $50 each, but their shipping cost is high if you want it mailed to your house (around $20). Having them shipped bulk saves us some money, but that has proved inconvenient for some folks.

Vests: The vests are manufactured by Louis Garneau. They are costly, almost $100 each. In the past, the club has kicked in $20/vest, bringing the cost down to $80. Their bulk shipping is free, but again, perhaps not convenient for everyone.

If you are interested in ordering a jersey or vest, please go to PBC’s store, click on jersey or vest, then “Read More,” and follow the directions to state your interest in either product. When we get the required minimum number, I’ll contact the company and begin the process.

T-Shirts: They are $20 each, cotton or dry-blend, and we’re selling them on the website. We need 25 to start an order.

Bridge Design: I also feel like we should take a survey to see if anyone is interested in a jersey or jacket of the old design that has the Fremont bridge on the front and the St. Johns Bridge on the back but this time with our new club name – possibly in different colors? Barry Emmerling has mentioned this a few times. Anyone else like to see this design come back? If you are interested in the bridge design, send an email to Cindy at [email protected].
