Ride Leader Workshop Teaser
RIDE LEADERS AND RIDE LEADER WANNABES ONLY!!! This is an exclusive event for only the crème de la crème of the club, which of course, are the ride leaders and the wannabe creme.
Here’s the event that you have all been waiting for, particularly those of you who wanted two workshops this past year because you can’t get enough pizza.
Now the “teaser” part…The workshop might be scheduled for Thursday February 29 at 6:00 PM at the same location as our club meetings.
“Ahhhh, why so far off? We’re hungry! And what’s this ‘might’ thing?” you say.
“It’s that far off because we wanted all the information to be fresh in your heads when the most active part of the cycling year begins and to have your stomachs full for all those miles,” we say. ✎
Now back to the schedule and the “might” thing. At least your road captains have the workshop scheduled. The church said that it was okay, but we haven’t received the paperwork.
“Why is that?” you ask.
“Got us!” we say. PUT A STRONG TENTATIVE IN YOUR SCHEDULE and be looking for updates (we say this too, even if it isn’t in quotes).
Topics? Yes, indeed. What topics? That’s a secret. Besides, I’d have to find the stuff from the last meeting, and this chair is really comfy. Okay, here’s a hint…we have a bunch of ride leader discussion topics left over from last time (because we spent almost the entire workshop on the use of the ride leader information on the club website). We will also have a bit of tech stuff this time, too. Let’s hope that the workshop is more informative than this paragraph.
