Sunday Parkways 2020
It’s that time of year again, PBC members! We are busy at work putting together a new main banner to display at our booth. We are excited to roll out, for the second year in a row, our new more inclusive club name, ‘PBC.’ We are excited to present our new club banner, collage style, that represents our cycling community at large. We hope you’ll come out and support us with this venue. If you’re interested in volunteering for the event, or just briefly rolling through to say hello, please do so. We will be selecting some dates soon to participate in Sunday Parkways and will then publish them. Below are the options for all Sunday Parkways 2020 dates:
- May 17, 11 AM to 4 PM, Southeast Portland (7 miles)
- June 28, 11 AM to 4 PM, North Portland (9.5 miles)
- July 19, 11 AM to 4 PM, Gateway/Outer Northeast (4.8 miles) – STP weekend! (This date is off the table for the PBC booth participation.)
- August 23, 11 AM to 4 PM, Green Loop (7 miles)
- September 20, 11 AM to 4 PM, Northeast Portland (7.6 miles)

We can discuss the ins and outs of what it takes to run a successful booth based on years of solid trial and error from our forefathers and mothers, aka Bud Rice and Ann Morrow. It’s a very busy and involved volunteer position that requires physical activity.
