The Central Oregon Menage a Trois: The Ride North of Bend

Description

Distance 35 miles. Leaves at 10:00 AM from Pioneer Park at Wall and Portland at the north end of Bends old downtown. Ride through mostly low traffic, country roads north of Bend. Cross the Deschutes River twice on back roads and ride by and alpaca farm. Lunch is at the food cart pod in the town of Tumalo. There are spectacular views of the Three sisters, Mt Bachelor, and Broken Top on this route.

If you are looking for accommodations for this event Bend is centrally located. Sisters is 20 miles to the west of Bend and Prineville is 38 miles to the east. If you are looking for something more economical Tumalo State Park and Campground is just 5 miles west of Bend. You can make state campground reservations six months ahead of the first day of your reservation. All three rides start at parks with restroom access.
