STP Training Ride #6: King City-St. Paul-Champoeg Loop

You do not need to be a PBC member. This ride is open to anyone who wants to get ready for the next edition of the famous Seattle-to-Portland bike ride, which will be held on July 15-16 this year. On-line signup is available—even to non-members—until 6:30 AM the day of the ride. Go to PBC Ride Calendar to sign up on-line. You will also be able to sign up in person at the start.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow for sign-up/check-in. Cue sheets will be available if requested in advance. Light rain is OK, heavy rain will shorten the ride.

Leaves from parking lot by King City Civic Association (across from King City City Hall). Route goes west on US 99W, south across the Willamette River to St. Paul, loops around back past Champoeg and then north to the start through Wilsonville. Restrooms available at Shari’s in Newburg, convenience store in St. Paul and Champoeg Visitor Center. Coffee/snack break at Butteville Store (if open) or Burger King in Wilsonville.
