Using the PBC Forum
Features:
- All club members with active memberships can submit posts and comment on published posts from other members. All submitted posts and comments go through moderation before being published.
- Only logged in users can see member-submitted posts and comments. Posts intended for public consumption (published only by administrators) can be seen by everyone, logged in or not.
- Posts are subdivided into topics which can be viewed separately. There are three types of topics: administrator topics are used by the club leadership for posts available only to members, member topics are used by club members for posts intended for other members and public topics are used by the club leadership for posts intended for the general public. Only public topics (such as the Top Talks) can be seen by everyone, logged in or not.
Club members can submit posts under the following topics:
- Discussion – an open forum for club members to discuss issues with other members.
- For Sale – an open forum for club members to buy and sell bicycling related items.
- Q & A – an open forum for club members to ask and answer questions.
- Suggestion Box – submit suggestions for club and website improvements.

- How to view forum posts
- Log in to the website using your club account.
- Select the Forum Posts option from the News dropdown menu.
- Posts from all the topics are displayed on this page. To view only the posts under a specific topic, select that topic from the Select Topic drop-down menu.
- Posts are ordered by the most recent first. There are 8 posts per pages with the option to select older pages. Posts tagged with the icon have comments.
- Select a post to view its content. Any member comments will be below the content, as well as the option to add a new comment.
- How to submit a forum post
- Log in to the website using your club account.
- Select the Submit Forum Post option from the members-only popup menu.
- From this page you can create and submit a new post, edit your existing draft posts or delete any draft post that you don’t want to submit.
- How to view recent forum posts
- Log in to the website using your club account.
- From the home page scroll down to the Recent Posts section.
- In this section you will see all the posts created or modified within the last 7 days.
- Select a post to view its content and any comments.
