Tuesday 11 Mile Old Folks and Rookie Ride -Portland Bicycling Club

Tuesday 11 Mile Old Folks and Rookie Ride

Description

The ride is for folks just getting back on their bikes and slower riders and may include a number of riders from the Mirabella retirement home. We will travel north to the Tilikum Crossing Bridge and connect to the Waterfront Park bike path or the Naito Parkway bike path to cross the Steel Bridge. We will then travel South on the Eastbank Esplanade going by OMSI and connect to the Springwater trail. After crossing the Sellwood bridge we will return along the Willamette Greenway to Mirabella. The only hill is the approach to the Sellwood Bridge. On occasion we may reverse the route. We will meet at the end of the ride at the Bistro (front of Mirabella) for coffee and a little conversation.

No-drop ride. Group pace set by slowest rider. Stopping for mechanical issues and restrooms.

Please read the Covid protocols before attending the ride. https://portlandbicyclingclub.com/protocols/
