Tualatin-Champoeg Loop

Description

Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow for sign-up/check-in. Online signup is available until 8:00 AM the day of the ride. After that, sign-up will be in person at the start. Riders will be expected to follow the established route. Coffee at Starbucks in the far corner of the parking lot at finish (between Petco and T.J. Maxx). Cue sheets available at start if requested in advance. Cue sheets can also be printed from the RwGPS map. (See link below.)

Cautions:
• The descent on highway 99E into Newberg is STEEP AND FAST. You can coast this hill at 30 mph plus, but there can be debris or bad pavement.
• Maintain spacing of about 20 yards between groups of 2 or 3 on the bridges crossing the Willamette River on OR 219 south of Newberg so that traffic can pass.
• Stay far right crossing the Willamette River on Boone Bridge (I-5).
