STP Training Ride #2: Tualatin-Champoeg Loop -Portland Bicycling Club

STP Training Ride #2: Tualatin-Champoeg Loop

Description

You do not need to be a PBC member. This ride is open to anyone who wants to get ready for the next edition of the famous Seattle-to-Portland bike ride, which will be held on July 15-16 this year. On-line signup is available—even to non-members—until 6:00 AM the day of the ride. Go to PBC Ride Calendar to sign up on-line. You will also be able to sign up in person at the start.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow for sign-up/check-in. Cue sheets will be available if requested a day in advance. Light rain is OK, heavy rain will shorten the ride.

Re-group at Shari's Parking lot at Hwy 99 and Springhill Rd, at Champoeg Visitor Center, and at Burger King Parking lot in Wilsonville.

Restroom break at Champoeg Visitor Center. Coffee and social time at Starbuck’s at the end of the ride.

I intend for this to be a group ride, but if some riders want to go faster, I would treat that part as a non-group ride. The faster riders may proceed at their own pace.

Please read the Covid protocols before attending the ride. https://portlandbicyclingclub.com/protocols/
