Are you a new bicycle owner or dusting off an old bike and wanting to ride? Well, we have rides! We’ll do the work, you just show up and we’ll help you Take Life by the Handlebars! Requirements: a bicycle and a helmet (more details at portlandbicyclingclub.com under Rides/Ride Ratings, Requirements, and Tips). Our solemn pledge is to leave no rider behind. This is a Portland Bureau of Transportation route which includes Albina and Arbor Lodge, the Bryant St. bike and pedestrian bridge, views of the river from Willamette Blvd., and the new protected bike lanes on lower Greeley. Some hills.
