Pittock Mansion and Council Crest from Sellwood Park

Description

Plan on three hours to complete this ride because of hilly terrain and planned breaks at Pittock Mansion and Council Crest. Bring snacks for breaks. On a clear day, expect scenic views overlooking downtown Portland and maybe Mt Rainier. Twenty-four hundred feet of elevation gain on a twenty-five mile ride will challenge you on uphills and reward you on downhills! Plan on regrouping and riding as a group through complicated parts of the route.
