Eagle Cap 6-Day Loaded Tour – Day 6 – Catherine Creek State Park to La Grand and Home

The last day is only 25 miles and is mostly a gentle downhill, and a long flat stretch that takes you through Union and past Medical Spring. Again, restaurants abound in La Grande. You may want to find a motel to shower and head home the next day, but I planned this to be a short day (after a tough one!) so there would be time for a meal before the 5-hour drive to Portland.

Pace: Whatever suits you. Probably average 8-10 mph for the day.
