Eagle Cap 6 – Day Loaded Tour – Day 4 Ollokot Forest Camp to Harry Hewitt Memorial Park

Leaving Ollokot, there is an initial steep grade of a couple of miles followed by a glorious 20 mile descent. At the bottom of the hill, turn right on Oregon Highway 86 and follow it 8 miles over gently rolling terrain to Halfway. Just before town, go straight on Pine Creek Highway, which becomes E. Record St. Wild Bill’s Restaurant is on the corner of Record and Main. Don’t be daunted by the sight of the hill you’ll have to climb after lunch! From Wild Bill’s go south on Main and return to OR 86. Follow it over the hill and down toward Richland, OR. Tough climb, but exhilarating descent!
