Emmy Pellico will be making the presentation at our May 4 meeting. She is a published author, and will speak about her experiences cycling as well as her recent book, Tales from a Cycling Sisterhood. Emmy has been active in cycling and especially touring, She has participated, along with some of her “sisters” in the Jim O’Horo Memorial Columbia Gorge Explorer for many years. Actually, she has been doing that tour since Jim was alive and even before I started riding in the tour. She and four other O’Horo CGE riders were good enough to ride the 80 miles in the rain on my birthday ride.

She will bring a few copies of her book, and will be happy to sign copies for those interested in buying a copy.
