Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow for sign-up/check-in.
This is an out-and-back ride. Approximately 10 miles to Stub Stewart one way. 20 for the round trip.. We will start at the Banks Trailhead and ride up to the Stub Stewart Sate Park Visitor Center to present our club’s donation to Friends of Stub Stewart Park for repair of a couple of bridges on the Banks-Vernonia Trail. If it’s a nice day, we can continue on to Vernonia and the Black Iron Grill for lunch. Distance is a shade over 21 if we go all the way to Vernonia. 42 for the round trip.
Pace will be moderate, 12-15 on the flat, but 8-10 mph once we start the hill at approximately mile 5.
Club members are encouraged to wear their club colors for the photo op at the presentation.
