Description

Visit Timothy Lake from Ripplebrook. Shown with optional side out-and-back to Little Crater Lake. Portions of the route are gravel, so gravel tires or wider road tires are preferred.

There is an optional gravel initial section at the start which follows the north side of the Oak Grove Fork of the Clackamas River. The mapped route is on the paved road which follows the south side of the river. These two options have about the same distance and elevation. They rejoin at the junction of Timothy Lake Road and FS Development Road 4630, seven miles into the ride as mapped.
