Zoom Club Meeting
Description
I don't know about you (mostly because I haven't bothered to ask you about anything), but escapist tendencies seem to be making themselves known, kind of like leftover poltergeists from Halloween and the turkey ghosts of Thanksgivings past. With the increasing interest in gravel riding, let's hit the trails (somewhat minorly well-used) for Supia, AZ and get a real good workout, even though the trail is only 8 miles long. Biking into a canyon can do that. This will be fun for a couple of reasons:
1. The decent is 1,000 feet in first 1.5 miles (best part), then 1,000 feet for the remainder of the trail and the ascent is the same.
2. I don't think bikes are allowed and there are hikers and mule trains to dodge...and law enforcement, given what we are doing, BUT, again WHAT FUN!
With any luck at all, we'll all have gotten the escapist tendencies out of our systems in time to thoroughly enjoy Thanksgiving with friends and family (assuming that we haven't fallen off of the trail, been beaten up by angry hikers and muleskinners, and that we have been able to post bail to get out of there).
