Yamhill Gravel 8 -Portland Bicycling Club

Yamhill Gravel 8

This ride has been canceled!

Description

One of my favorite semi-local rides. A very scenic route with some truly magnificent views. This route is all on public roads, no single or doubletrack.

The usual gravel ride precautions apply: This is NOT a road ride. A gravel bike or hardtail mountain bike is a must. I ride with knobby 42’s and often wish for more on some descents. Skilled riders can do it on 35’s. Come with your sense of adventure along with everything you need to be self-sufficient in the way of water (bring plenty), food/snacks (bring plenty), tools and spares. You must have the route loaded into your GPS device or phone. We will regroup at the top of big climbs or at major turns. While the pace is listed as brisk it will be challenging. Email me with any questions.

Pace: Will be "brisk", but as this is a gravel ride, we won't be riding 15-17 mph as the road metric indicates.

Do not come if you are not vaccinated for COVID-19.

Please read the Covid protocols before attending the ride. https://portlandbicyclingclub.com/protocols
