Wilshire Park to Multnomah Falls

Description

A classic ride starting at Wilshire Park, traveling along Marine Drive. There is a rest stop at Lewis & Clark SRS; after which, we ascend to Crown Point (Vista House - restrooms and water). From there, we have fun descending to Multnomah Falls, the best part of the ride! At the falls, take a break, get water, shoot photos, and use the restroom before we return.

We head up to Crown Point (rest stop) and then Troutdale for a coffee stop at Rivertrails Cafe. After eating and caffeinating, we head to Wilshire Park. This ride has two climbs: Crown Point from the Troutdale side and Crown Point from the Multnomah Falls side. It's one of our best rides! This ride has water and restroom stops along the way, for example, at Lewis and Clark State Recreation Site, Vista House, Multnomah Falls, and the coffee stop.

The Sunday series features a specific ride on a designated Sunday of each month. The 2025 Sunday series is planned until the end of October and will likely be extended. The Wilshire Park to Multnomah Falls ride is held on the fifth Sunday of every month having five Sundays.

Rides leave at the posted time, so arrive early enough to be ready. Rides may commence in cold and wet weather; however, they will be canceled if conditions are deemed unsafe or excessively unpleasant. Please check the ride status on the calendar within 2 hours of the scheduled start time. Come with a sense of adventure and self-reliance. You are expected to bring what you need to fix a flat and keep yourself on track. Bring food, water, and the appropriate kit. Print and bring the PDF directions if you don't use GPS. Please note that this is a non-group ride, allowing participants to ride at their own pace.
