Wednesday Waterfalls: Troutdale to Munra Falls Out & Back

WEDNESDAY WATERFALL SERIES: THEME & VARIATIONS. This week’s Waterfalls ride takes us back into the Columbia River Gorge for another scenic cascade‑collecting adventure. We’ll roll east along the Historic Columbia River Highway, passing a whole string of iconic Gorge waterfalls: Latourell Falls, Shepperd’s Dell Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Wahkeena Falls, and Multnomah Falls – the classics we know and love.

Featured falls will be Horsetail Falls with its dramatic plunge, where we'll pause for a photo opp, and Munra Falls, which is viewable after an optional 1/4-mile walk/gravel ride from the trailhead. After our waterfall tour, we’ll continue to Herman’s Coffee Bar for a rest stop sitting at outdoor picnic tables at the Bonneville Fish Hatchery. It’s a great spot to refuel before we head back to the Start.

You'll have the option to ride with me as a group (we'll re-group at key points) and must be able to maintain a minimum cruising speed of 13 MPH on a flat or gentle hill terrain. Riders slower than 13 MPH on Level A terrain and faster riders are welcome to participate non-group and ride at their own pace.
