Wednesday Waterfalls Series: Theme & Variations
Description
CLARK PARK TO OLD BRIDGE TRAILHEAD OUT & BACK. This ride is a peaceful escape into the Molalla River Corridor, a ribbon of paved road that winds along the Molalla River's east bank forest with creek crossings and small cascades. It’s the kind of route that feels like a retreat: quiet roads, gentle grades, and the sense of riding deeper into Oregon’s green heart. Expect long, peaceful stretches and the satisfying rhythm of steady climbing followed by a smooth, scenic descent back toward town.
Bring water and snacks for a brief rest stop at the Old Bridge Trailhead before we turn around. After returning to town, we'll meet at The Humble Pig Café for coffee and pastries before rolling the final few blocks back to Clark Park.
You'll have the option to ride with me as a group (we'll re-group at key points) and must be able to maintain a minimum cruising speed of 13 MPH on a flat or gentle hill terrain. Riders slower than 13 MPH on Level A terrain and faster riders are welcome to participate non-group and ride at their own pace.
