Description

The start is at the north parking lot of Sellwood Park. This ride will be over mostly flat terrain from Sellwood Park to beautiful Vancouver Lake. This is a fairly long ride and temps are likely to be warm so remember to bring snacks & plenty of water. The general route is as follows: cross the Sellwood Bridge, north on west side of the Willamette River, cross the Steel Bridge, north on Williams & Vancouver Ave, west on the Slough Trail, north through Delta Park and cross the I-5 Bridge. After coffee in downtown Vancouver we’ll head west on Mill Plain/Lower River Rd. to Vancouver Lake, then double back to the I-5 Bridge, south on MLK Blvd. and Vancouver Ave., continue south on the Esplanade and Oaks Bottom Trail, take detour up to Milwaukie Ave., and return to Sellwood Park. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early.
