Twin Bridges Scenic Bikeway

Description

The Twin Bridges Scenic Bikeway is the most popular countryside riding loop from Bend. The route begins and ends in downtown Bend at the historic Drake Park, one of Oregon's premier scenic cycling routes. Featuring 36 miles of rolling intermediate terrain, Twin Bridges offers cyclists breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains, rolling forests, and inspiring high desert terrain. It takes approximately two to three hours to complete, depending on the riding pace.

Rides leave at the posted time, so arrive early enough to be ready. Rides may commence in cold and wet weather; however, they will be canceled if conditions are deemed unsafe or excessively unpleasant. Please check the ride status on the calendar within five hours of the scheduled start time. Come with a sense of adventure and self-reliance. You are expected to bring what you need to fix a flat and keep yourself on track. Bring food, water, and the appropriate kit. Print and bring the PDF directions if you don't use GPS. Please note that this is a non-group ride, allowing participants to ride at their own pace.
