Description
This is a short ride, so we will ride, rain or shine. Due to the short distance (approx. 10 miles out and 10 back after a rest stop) and depending on the group, we may push the 13-15 mile pace a bit. The Portland Bicycling Club has taken this ride many times. We will be stopping for coffee at Panera at Jantzen Beach.
I intend for this to be a non-group ride, but if some riders want poke along with me, I would welcome the company. At least for a while, we will be coming back in darkness or twilight, so you must have a white headlight visible for at least 500 feet and a rear tail light as well as bright, easily seen clothing, preferably reflective. A reflective safety vest would be a good option.

Parking is available, but there are no restrooms at the start. First possibility for a potty stop are a Brighton Beach Park, approx. 6 miles from the start.
