Traditional Kelley Point Two-Bridge Loop

Description

This is (mostly) the traditional PWTC Saturday morning ride. Leave Wilshire Park and head to Kelley Point on City Streets, go past Bybee Lake on a designated multi-use path, cross over the I-5 Bridge to Vancouver for coffee at Java House. Then out Evergreen and pick up the path over the I-205 Bridge, returning to the park via Prescott and Going. I say it is mostly the old PWTC route because we used to go out NE Ainsworth which is narrow and has lots of parked cars.

I plan on 13-15 mph on the flat and good pavement, but the pace of the ride is the speed of the slowest rider. No one gets dropped.

Please arrive 15 minutes for my spiel and orientation. Heavy rain might shorten the ride to the Kelley Point No Bridge Loop or even a No Kelley Point Two-Bridge Loop. If the weather is really nasty, we could just to an out and back to Panera on Tomahawk Island. Snow or ice cancels. (I used to be young and adventurous. Now I am old and brittle.)
