STP Training Ride #2: Tualatin-Champoeg Loop – CANCLED DUE TO WEATHER TRAFFIC SAFETY

This ride has been canceled!

Description

You do not need to be a PBC member. This ride is open to anyone who wants to get ready for the next edition of the famous Seattle-to-Portland bike ride, which will be held on July 11-12 this year. Anyone can join this training ride—even non-members, but you must sign up on line.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow for late sign-up and/or check-in. Cue sheets will be available if requested a day in advance. Light rain is OK, heavy rain will shorten the ride.

Re-group at Springbrook Plaza Shari's Parking lot at Hwy 99 and Springhill Rd, at Champoeg Visitor Center, and at Burger King Parking lot in Wilsonville. Break at Butteville Store (if open) or at Burger King.

Restroom break at Champoeg Visitor Center. Also, Coffee and social time at Starbuck’s at the end of the ride.

I intend for this to be a group ride, but if some riders want to go faster, I would treat that part as a non-group ride. The faster riders may proceed at their own pace.
