Seattle to Portland (STP) Bicycle Classic and Finish Line Support – Day 2

Description

This 207-mile bicycle ride, officially the Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic presented by Alaska Airlines, organized by Cascade Bicycle Club of Seattle, is the largest multi-day bicycle event in the Northwest with 6,500 participants expected to ride from Seattle to Portland in one or two days. RIDERS
• The course opens at 5:00 AM.
• Mileage indicated is the total distance.
• For club mileage credit, sign-in will be online only. There will be no manual paper ride sheet. You may sign up in advance for the ride; you will have 72 hours after the ride either to sign up or to log back in and adjust your mileage as needed.

FINISH LINE VOLUNTEERS
• Portland Bicycling Club manages the Finish Line at the Portland end of the STP route, which is set up at Holladay Park near Lloyd Center. It takes many volunteers, teamwork and cooperation, to make this work. All PBC members (and guests!) who will not be riding are encouraged to volunteer for this event.

• You may sign up for one or more positions that do not overlap.
• Volunteers riding to/from the Finish Line may receive club mileage credit. Sign-in will be online only. There will be no manual paper ride sheet. • Start time for Finish Line volunteers depends on designated time for each shift.
