Parrett Mountain Roller Coaster

Come challenge yourself by riding the beautiful hills of Sherwood and Newberg. Scenic roads with very low traffic - horse farms, vineyards, and woods. Short, but perhaps not so sweet: 23 miles with over 2500 feet of vertical gain. Ride starts at the Graham Oaks Nature Park in WIlsonville. Start has water and restrooms. There are a couple of honey buckets along the ride route and a possible coffee cart stop near the end. Bring along snacks as you’re going to need the energy. This route avoids some of the “best” (okay, worst) climbs, but the descent down OPM is a steep one - make sure that your brakes and tires are in top condition. Rain or icy conditions will automatically cancel. If this becomes a regular off-season ride, the route will vary depending on the groups’ abilities and tolerance for abuse.
