Oswego Lake/Trolley Trail Loop -Portland Bicycling Club

Oswego Lake/Trolley Trail Loop

Description

We’ll start near the historic Oswego Iron Furnace in the lower parking lot of George Rogers Park. Ascend slowly up McVey-Southshore and loop around Oswego Lake, up a little ways on the Terwilliger multiuse path, then return to HWY 43 via Iron Mountain. Cross the Sellwood Bridge and pedal to Oregon City mostly on the Trolley Trail, then back to the west side via the Oregon City Arch Bridge. Return to the start via Willamette Drive, Old River Road and the Old River Road multiuse path. My pace: 6-22mph. (Hey, depends on weather I’m going uphill or downhill).
