Our volunteers were UNPARALLELED this year – phenomenal, sensational, awe‑inspiring in every way. Team leaders and team members worked together seamlessly, exceeded expectations, and showed the kind of dedication that makes STP shine.

Volunteers Who Went Above and Beyond

• Kurt Minges, who finished his shift and immediately joined other teams to help them wrap up.
• Our incredible Floaters – Ryan Ticknor, Maria Sworske, Tom Carter, and Jan Oestereich – who jumped in wherever needed.
• Thom Handa, Joel Loh, Jim Liu, and others who stayed after their own shifts to support additional teams.
• Mehrdad Abidari and Luci Hise, who were on call and stepped in at the last minute.
• And Patti Hale, who was next on the on-call list but didn’t get called.

If I could’ve had a bird’s‑eye view of the entire event, I would list every single volunteer who stepped up, but I could only see the teams where I happened to be at any given moment. If I missed you, please know it wasn’t intentional. Your work mattered, and we are grateful.
