PBC Annual Summer Celebration Picnic

It’s that time of year – when we gather and celebrate food, fun, and friendship! 

We will have our annual summer picnic on Sunday, August 9, 2026. Prior to the all-important meal, there will be rides available – for several skill levels. Our ride calendar will have further details. We welcome any ride leader interested in leading a variety of rides. 

The Portland Bicycling Club will provide sandwich fixings and beverages (gluten-free options will be available). We will have a covered picnic area with tables, but you are encouraged (though not required) to bring folding chairs. 

We are asking PBC members to supplement the meal with sides or desserts.

Who: PBC members and guests

What: PBC Summer Celebration. The popular potluck style will continue. Your own comfort level will determine whether you bring something homemade or store-bought. Sanitary protocols are expected. 

• Last names beginning with A-L: bring salad/sides/appetizer/chips, etc. 
• Last names beginning with M-Z: bring dessert. 

When:   Sunday, August 9, 2026. Watch the ride calendar for start times of pre-picnic rides.

Festivities and games begin in the park around 11:30 AM.

Food serving will begin at 12:00pm, and will be followed by raffle drawings
