Seeking Leaders Committed to Making a Difference

Executive board nominations are now open. If you have a passion for biking, a desire to shape our club’s future, and the energy to foster community spirit, we encourage you to consider running for one of these positions. No experience is necessary – just a willingness to lead, listen, and collaborate. This is a pivotal opportunity for active PBC members to contribute to the future direction and growth of our organization. Elections will be held at the club meeting on December 4. At this time, we are seeking nominations for president, vice president, treasurer, membership secretary, recording secretary, one road captain, and two members at large. There is also the remainder of a July-to-June position for a member at large, so we are looking for three members at large.

Who can be nominated? We invite nominations of passionate individuals who are eager to have a meaningful impact in our club and in our community. You may either nominate yourself or put forward someone you believe embodies the vision, dedication, and leadership qualities needed.

How to nominate:

  1. SELF-NOMINATION. If you are ready to lead and drive positive changes, express your interest by submitting your name for consideration.
  2. NOMINATE A PEER. If you know someone whose skills, passion, and commitment will enrich our board, you are encouraged to nominate them also.

To nominate yourself or someone else, or to learn more about roles and responsibilities, please contact Nominations Committee Chair Eric Hendricks, [email protected] or 503-803-7926.

Why your participation matters. Filling these board positions with committed and visionary individuals is crucial. The strength of our leadership determines the effectiveness of our club’s mission and the wellbeing of our community. We urge you to consider this opportunity seriously and to help us find those who genuinely want to make a difference.

Get involved! Reflect on your own aspirations and those of your peers, and get ready to participate in shaping our club’s future. Together, let’s ensure our board is composed of individuals prepared to lead with purpose and integrity.
