Ride through Central Oregon in 2022

Explore Central Oregon on these three rides from Bend and Prineville over Memorial Day weekend, May 28, 29, and 30, 2022. Two of the rides start in Bend and explore forest, farm and ranch country west and north of Bend.

The third ride travels out of Prineville on one of the State of Oregon scenic bikeways. This ride is the reason to come for the weekend. It follows the Crooked River Canyon up to the dam that forms Prineville Reservoir. It is an out-and-back ride that passes farms, ranches and a series of campgrounds.

Since this is a holiday weekend, if you want to go, you should make room reservations well in advance. If you want to camp, Tumalo State Park is only five miles from Bend. You can make campground reservations six months in advance. Campgrounds fill up very quickly from this six-month timeline.
