STP: Do You Like to Drive?
Are you a good driver? Your club needs you for this difficult-to-fill position! A driver is needed to rent and drive a ten-foot van for a few short hours each of the four days. The closer you live to Holladay Park, the better. Specific hours TBA. Ideally, one driver (or a couple) for insurance purposes. This is a critical position to provide the road signs, flags, and supplies needed for the STP weekend.
If all you want to do is drive, sign up for this one spot – no loading/unloading required – and you will be helping your club tremendously. FRIDAY, JULY 11:
• Rent and drive the van to the storage unit where the loading team will load the van. Then drive the van home to park overnight.
SATURDAY, JULY 12:
• Drive the van to Holladay Park in the AM where the unloading team will unload the van. Done for the day! How will you get home? Arrange an alternate ride, or drive the van back home.
SUNDAY, JULY 13:
• Return to Holladay Park in the PM where the loading team will load the van. Then drive the van home to park overnight.
MONDAY, JULY 14:
• Drive the van to the storage unit where the unloading team will unload the van. Return the rented van.
