Everyone should have a bicycle, right? This one might be for YOU! Portland Bicycling Club received an extremely generous bicycle donation. The executive board would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to donor Jerry Curtis. He asked us to sell the bicycle to raise funds for the club or to find a member in need of a bicycle. After much discussion about which way to go, the board has decided to offer this bicycle to the PBC member who would most benefit from this gift.
Here are the bike’s specs: 54 cm Lynskey (titanium frame), SRAM Red components, carbon forks, 15.5 lbs, new 700×25 Continental tires.
WOULD this bike fit you? Are you in need of a bicycle? ✎ If so, then simply complete the following easy steps by the deadline to be considered for this free-to-you, like-new bicycle:
- Write a paragraph or two, about 100 words or less, explaining Why I should be the recipient of this bicycle donation.
- Include how the bicycle at 54 cm fits your personal needs.
- Send an email to [email protected] no later than 6/20/2021 with your “WHY” you should be the one to receive this road bicycle.
Members of the board will review submissions, and the selected recipient will be announced at the July PBC member meeting. Thank you for participating if you need a road bicycle with the aforementioned specs. If not, kindly keep your eyes and ears open for someone who would benefit from a 54-cm bicycle and encourage them to enter.
