Yearend Contributions

We all get solicitations for charitable giving this time of year. Not sure if it is the spirit of giving or the spirit of last-minute tax deductions, or a combination of the two, that drives this. However, it has become an established part of our culture. Probably very few of us can afford to support all the good causes that come calling. Most of us pick a few that have a special meaning for us. That is, some cause that may not be the most earth-shaking endeavor but that has a special place in our hearts.

The board believes that, for many of us, this club has gained a special place in our hearts. With that in mind, we ask that you donate to support the club in its educational efforts in the coming year (e.g., safety, member meeting programs, outreach workshops) – and yes, they will be fun.

How much? As much as you like, of course. Though we suggest you start with a manageable amount that has some sort of symbolic value for our club. For example, we are primarily a road-riding club, and most of our rides are about 25 miles, so how about a tax-deductible gift of $25?

We appreciate any amount you can give. Click here to donate to the club; or from the home page on the club’s website, select the “Donate” tab. Thank you.
