Election Night: December 7, 2023
Good news, our fellow club members are volunteering to step into leadership roles on the board to help steer us in our endeavors.
As previously noted, we have several current board members taking a break for various reasons, and we wish them well and thank them for the help they have given.
As I write this, we have only one position which, to my knowledge, does NOT have anyone stepping forward to fill it yet: ✎ RECORDING SECRETARY.
Kathleen Hellem has been recording secretary for a few years and is ready for a breather.
- The role of the recording secretary is to maintain a written record of all executive board and general membership club meetings.
- Minutes can be as detailed or as minimal as you choose.
- Board meetings, held the third Wednesday of each month, are on Zoom.
- General membership meetings are in person the first Thursday of most months.
- Board members receive free annual membership as a perk for volunteering.
- You will be part of the team that helps build and manage the club and its functions.
- Build friendships and learn more about the inner workings of your club.
Please let a board member know if you can fill this important board position.
Nominations from the floor will also be accepted on the date of the election at the club member meeting in December.
