Annual Club Picnic: Sunday, August 7

It is that time of year: when we gather and celebrate food, fun, and friendship! We will have our summer celebration on Sunday, August 7. Prior to the all-important meal, there will be a variety of club rides of varying distances and speeds. Our online ride calendar will have ride start times and further details.

1. Tom Carter has volunteered to lead an intermediate, 32-mile, non-group ride in a figure 8 (Thank you, Tom!).
2. Ann Morrow will be the ride leader for an intermediate, 20-mile, group ride (Thank you, Ann!).
3. Alan Mevis will offer a shorter, slow, family-friendly, 10-mile group ride — where the pace is determined by the slowest rider and nobody gets dropped (Thank you, Alan!!)

We will have a covered picnic area with tables at Columbia Park, but you are encouraged to bring folding chairs. The popular potluck style will continue. The club will provide sandwich fixings (gluten-free options will be available) and beverages. We are asking PBC members to supplement the meal with sides or desserts. (Your own comfort level dictates if you bring something homemade or store-bought. Please use safe food-handling practices).
