Showers Pass
Showers Pass has a discount program that should interest all of us who will be riding in any kind of wet weather, and if you’re training for upcoming event rides, you can’t wait for dry days. It’s time to get started! Showers Pass offers currently active PBC members a 40% discount on “eligible” items. Talking with them, it seems that virtually all items not-on-clearance are eligible. ✎
- Complete a brief online Showers Pass application. Please note: On the form, sponsored outdoor team or club is Portland Bicycling Club (NOT “PBC” or “Portland Bike Club,” or some other designation that a few use). If you already have a personal account at Showers Pass, this application will supersede your existing account; otherwise, you will create a new one.
- Use the same email address for Showers Pass that will match the email address you used for your PBC membership.
- When your application is approved (typically within a couple of days), you will receive an email or account invitation with additional details. If you have any questions, please email [email protected].
- After you receive the special cycling club code, you can purchase online at ShowersPass.com or in person at the showroom Monday through Thursday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The showroom is located at 2101 SE 6th Avenue, Portland, OR 97214. They are also eager to talk with you on the phone at 503-203-8000.
Remember, there’s no such thing as bad weather, there’s only bad gear; so, get yourself some good gear at a good price, and keep on riding!
