Pioneer Volunteers Needed

Thanks to all who have signed up to help stage the return of our Pioneer Metric Century, taking place on Saturday, June 11. After a three-year gap, this year’s version will be simpler than past offerings.  It will have two similar metric courses, one a bit longer and challenging than the other, and a third 34-mile course. These changes will reduce the number of checkpoints from four to two.

The 2018 Pioneer Century™ had 75 club members filling 107 jobs, over three days, and that excludes the four rest stops, staffed by local groups charging money for their efforts. Moving the start location from the Canby Fairgrounds eliminates much pre-event staging, breakdown, labor and costs.

This year the volunteer list is presently at 56 positions but can be modified as time goes on. Please check back here for updates.
