Annual SnowCap Donation Drive

Your donations for SnowCap will be collected at our December 3rd club meeting. Below is a list to help get a jumpstart on your contributions:

  • Canned tuna, chili, hearty stews & soups, canned fruits or vegetables.
  • Boxed dessert mixes (jello, cake/frosting, brownie or cookie mixes)
  • Egg cartons, empty (1 dozen size for redistribution from larger quantities)
  • Grocery-sized paper bags or clean reusable cloth-type bags
  • Gently used coats – all sizes & types
  • New socks – men and kid sizes
  • Hats/gloves/scarves
  • Oregon return-for-deposit cans or bottles – rinsed & clean. Keep glass bottles & cans/plastic bottles separate, please. Makes for easier handling!
  • Monetary contributions (checks can be made out to SnowCap)

While SnowCap’s website wish list has many things on it, these are the easiest for our elves to handle. Our elf crew can get a bit over-enthusiastic during the collection process, so give them a heads up if your donations are in glass containers. It would be a shame if the glass containers were broken during the hand-off.

SnowCap continues to rely on private and community donations. Their monthly client numbers have only grown in 2026 while, in some cases, donations are down as costs have risen. Our club members have always stepped forward to help, so consider giving what you can. Thanking everyone in advance for your continued support.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone in December and filling up our Honda Element again!
