March 2026 Top Talk

The main theme of this talk is our club’s signature PIONEER CENTURY® ride, scheduled for Saturday, June 13. This is the big one, planned and staffed by club volunteers to offer three scenic options of rural riding through Clackamas and Marion counties.  It’s the event that promotes our club, as well as earning revenue to fund our other activities, such as the banquet, picnic and, of course, our charitable donations.  Almost 75% of the volunteer positions have been filled but be alert for last-minute requests for help.  And, if you’re not volunteering, be sure to register to ride

In other news, some of our members, distrustful of the vagaries of Pacific Northwest spring weather, are planning to go on their annual March riding pilgrimage in Tucson, Arizona. This includes some of our key ride leaders who have been providing the recurring weekly rides on our calendar.  If you’re not one of them, refer to the March ride calendar.  If you see a day that’s blank or if you don’t see a ride that suits you, contact our road captains (Rob Schroeder or Joel Loh) at [email protected] and offer to lead the ride that you would desire.  Your fellow members will appreciate it!
