Corridor & Crest Trail Mix: OFF-ROAD Adventure

Come explore with me! This route stitches together the familiar Springwater Corridor Trail with the trails around Powell Butte, Pleasant Valley, and Mount Scott. It’s a 28‑mile sampler of Portland’s east‑side terrain – part paved path, part park trail, part “we’ll‑see‑what‑happens.”

We’ll roll out on the Springwater, climb gently toward Powell Butte’s forest edge, then wind through Pleasant Valley’s trail network before cresting Mount Scott for sweeping views. Expect a mix of surfaces (about 70% paved/30% unpaved, ideal for 35-40 mm tires), a few short climbs, and the occasional “pause‑and‑figure‑it‑out” moment if the route surprises us.
