"The southern slopes of Mt. Adams in June are a bicyclist’s paradise with good roads, exceptional weather, cool temps, easy to challenging rides and unequaled vistas against the glorious snow clad backdrop of magnificent Mt Adams. The Mt. Adams Country Bicycle Tour is the perfect way to enjoy and explore this spectacular sun-drenched area and awesome views with your fellow riders in the fresh mountain air—and raise needed funds for non-profit community projects." The Tour includes multiple ride options: an 11½-mile Family Friendly ride, a 51-mile valley ride, a 57-mile forest ride, and 108-mile Infinity Ride (combine the Valley and Forest rides). The forest ride was once a loop but a road washout forced it to be two out-and-back 28-mile legs. For about an 80-mile ride you can do one leg of the forest ride plus the valley ride. Registration is now open online. Fee is $55 until June 1, then $65 until day of ride; $75 on day of ride, registration on site.
